Woodruff Physical Education Center (WoodPEC)

Parking for all events in the Woodruff Physical Education Center will be in the Peavine and Michaels Parking Structures. See website for detailed driving directions. Parking for events at the parking structures will be complimentary. Do not park anywhere else on campus. Your car may be ticketed or towed if not in designated event parking spaces.

The facility is wheelchair accessible. Spaces for wheelchairs will be made available at the base of the bleachers. Space limitations allow for only one companion seat next to each wheelchair.

Events at the Woodruff Physical Education Center will feature American Sign Language interpreting. Please see an usher for directions to the appropriate seating area. Again, space limitations allow for only one companion seat next to the guest requesting American Sign Language interpretation services. Thank you for your cooperation.

No cameras, recording devices, laptop computers, large purses, bags or backpacks will be allowed into venues. (There will be no place to check those items, so please do not bring them with you.)  Please arrive at least 90 minutes prior to each event for parking and security clearance. All attendees are required to clear security and are subject to search upon entry. Members of the Emory community may be asked to show their university identification, and any off-campus guests should bring government-issued photo identification.

Cell phones are permitted, but must be turned off. Cell phone camera photography is prohibited.

Concessions will be available in or around the gym. Additional campus dining options will be posted on the website closer to the event.

Glenn Auditorium

Parking for all events in Glenn Auditorium (located inside Glenn Memorial Church) will be in the Fishburne Parking Structure with overflow parking at Peavine Parking Structure (shuttles provided). See website for detailed driving directions. Do not park anywhere else on campus. Your car may be ticketed or towed if not in designated event parking spaces.

The facility is wheelchair accessible (please use the North Decatur Road side entrance). Spaces for wheelchairs will be made available at the front of the pews. Space limitations allow for only one companion seat next to each wheelchair.

If you require sign language services for this event, please email info@dalailama.emory.edu at least 2 weeks prior to the event.

Centennial Olympic Park  (Downtown Atlanta)

Parking options for the Public Talk are being investigated. Please check back closer to the event for recommended parking options. We highly recommend carpooling and taking the MARTA public transportation system for ease of access to the event.

The park is wheelchair accessible.

There will be no seats at the park. No patio or folding chairs of any kind may be brought into the park.  Seat cushions and blankets are permitted.

(There will be no place to check those items, so please do not bring them with you.)  Please arrive at least 90 minutes prior to each event for parking and security clearance. All attendees are required to clear security and are subject to search upon entry. All guests should bring government-issued photo identification.

Cell phones are permitted, but must be turned off. Personal cameras (no detachable lenses, no camera bags, no tripods/monopods) are permitted, only at Olympic Park, and must be carried by hand (no bags).

Concessions will be available at the park. You may bring bottled water and food, but no coolers.
